When you're managing multiple construction projects with tight deadlines, the last thing you need is to juggle different sealants for different applications. Dymonic® 100 changes the game for exterior construction sealants. This high-movement polyurethane sealant handles everything from concrete cracks to perimeter caulking, giving you one reliable product that works across your entire project.
Keep reading to learn how Dymonic 100 can help streamline the scope of your work, taking the guesswork out of sealant selection and delivering professional results every time.
Time is money on any jobsite, and Dymonic 100 helps expedite project timelines and reduce costs. This sealant adheres directly to damp or green concrete without the outgassing issues that plague other products. This means you don't need to wait for concrete to cure completely, which is a big timesaver when you're working on a tight schedule. The low dirt pickup formula and UV stability of Dymonic 100 enables your finished applications to stay watertight and clean-looking for longer, reducing callbacks, maintenance and warranty issues. Plus, with 21 standard colors available, you can easily find a match for an adjacent substrate, like wood, metal, vinyl siding or EIFS. If you want something more unique, Dymonic 100 can be ordered in custom colors too.
Once fully cured, the sealant bead is also paintable, giving you greater design flexibility. To learn more about installing sealants, read this blog post.
Construction materials expand and contract with temperature changes, and your sealants need to move with them. Dymonic 100 demonstrates +100/-50% movement capability in typical field conditions, significantly outperforming standard urethane sealants that crack under stress.
This exceptional flexibility and bond strength mitigates failure, making it ideal for applications where thermal cycling and high movement is anticipated, such as in expansion joints, traffic coatings and even seismic conditions.
One of the biggest advantages of Dymonic 100 is its compatibility with most substrates you’ll encounter on construction sites, including:
This versatility means you can use one product across multiple trades and applications, simplifying inventory management and reducing jobsite confusion. You can even use Dymonic 100 to transition between dissimilar materials as a compatible solution for the building connections most prone to failure.
Tremco maintains a large database of substrates Dymonic 100 has been tested with. If you’d like to confirm its compatibility with a specific substrate, feel free to contact Tremco Technical Services.

Exterior sealants face a lot of abuse when left unprotected to the elements. Constant UV exposure, precipitation and sudden temperature fluctuations can cause many products to crack, craze or yellow over time. Dymonic 100's UV-stable formulation maintains its integrity and appearance under extreme sun exposure.
This stability is particularly important for highly visible applications like on exterior cladding or architectural joints where appearance matters as much as performance. Dymonic 100 performs just as well in these exposed conditions as in covered applications.
For detail work, it provides reliable perimeter caulking around windows and doors and between exterior wall panels. It's also excellent for curtain wall applications, flashing rough openings, and sealing penetrations in gypsum sheathing, where weather sealing is critical to mitigate air and water infiltration. For projects requiring fire-rated systems, this multi-use sealant is included in several approved fire-rated wall assemblies to ease NFPA 285 compliance.
Of course, Dymonic 100 complements other Tremco CPG products and systems, including:
And because you can use Dymonic 100 across numerous building applications, you’ll have less product waste at the end of the job.
