Wartburg-Waverly Sports & Wellness Center
While installing Paraseal® Sheet Membrane and TREMDrain® 1000 Series Multi-Composite Drainage and Protection Board to the below-grade foundation wall of Wartburg College’s new sports and wellness center, Restoration Services, Inc. identified an unexpected challenge. When they approached the top of the concrete wall, the substrate changed from concrete to 2 feet of rough-cut limestone requiring a fluid-applied membrane to provide waterproofing protection to complete the job. By having the breadth of products from Tremco to choose from, what could have been a serious compatibility issue was easily resolved. Tremco’s TREMproof® 250GC Cold Fluid-Applied Waterproofing Membrane was the ideal solution for superior adhesion to the limestone and assured compatibility with the Paraseal membrane, Paraseal Termination Bar and the Vulkem 116 Polyurethane Sealant used to seal the termination. |
