TREMPRO® 696

Reinforced Butyl Tape

TREMPRO® 696 is a 100% solid, macro-polyisobutylene preformed tape with an integral, continuous EPDM spacer shim.

Basic Uses
  • TREMPRO 696 is used for lap sealing between panels that require compression resistance with controlled tape squeeze-out.
  • It is typically used in lap joints where the aesthetics of a tape squeeze-out or panel to panel contact are a concern.
  • Typical applications include truck trailers, mobile homes, bus bodies, recreational vehicles and cooling tower applications.
  • TREMPRO 696 is equipped with a continuous shim to minimize the possibility of tape squeeze-out and exhibits tenacious adhesion to most common substrates and can be easily compressed to the shim to ease the installation process.
  • TREMPRO 696’s superior weathering characteristics make it ideal for exterior applications.
