The sealant contact depth calculation is not a substitute for an official Tremco structural glazing recommendation. All Tremco structural glazing project reviews require a complete drawing review by Tremco Glazing Technical Services, with appropriate sealant adhesion and compatibility testing as required.

Tremco recommends as a minimum a 1/4" x 1/4" tensile bead in structural glazing applications.
